Thunderbird indicator doesn't work with Thunderbird 6.0

Yes I have also this problem! How did they get the notification working in 11.10???

In less than fifty days 11.10 will become a stable release. Unless Ruben cares enough to fix the code before then, I guess he is under the assumption that everyone will upgrade and that this extension will soon become old, dated news.

I don't know if the simpliest solution is just to change the acceptable version number in addons files. Could be simple so...

I've done a simple hack (change maximal version of thundebird of install.rdf) and it seems to work, can someone try ?

Wow, what an easy fix! Thanks Kartoch! Works for me. I'm using a different branch that makes the messaging menu turn green in the system tray:

The mainline version at rev 57 that you branched off of doesn't seem to integrate with the messaging menu for me.

I've just merge the revision 57 of svilen-kanev. You can get it in my branch, still working ? any other update to merge ?

Here is Kartoch's code as a .xpi file. I can confirm that it works in Thunderbird 7 as well.
