Gator version mismatch on Linux Linaro ubuntu images.

For some reason the latest images still contain the old version of the gator package even though the new version was uploaded to the Linaro Overlay PPA a week ago.

There doesn't appear to be any problem with the actual packages, because running "apt-get update" and "apt-get upgrade" finds and installs the new gator.

@Tixy, Actually I tried "apt-get update" then ran "apt-get install gator" & "apt-get install gator-daemon", but the system said it's already the latest version.

I was trying it on the latest vexpress snapshot [1] and "dpkg -s gator"
showed Version: 5.13.0-20130114112019. Then the update + upgrade
installed version 5.14.0. Checking the PPA [2] confirms the new version
was uploaded on the 5th of April, so it's a bit strange that the
prebuilt images don't already contain this, or that it isn't always
found when trying to update after boot on the device.

Behavior observed by Botao makes sense. afaics, we ship the latest version.

I should have looked at Gator_Version_Mismatch.png more closely. That's the right gator daemon package it's the kernel driver which is the old version. linux-linaro hasn't been updated for a week and is based off a 10 day old llct which doesn't have the latest gator. So this bug should be fixed when linux-linaro is next updated.

Note, my claim that the latest vexpress prebuilt image has an old gator package was wrong - I had uncompressed the prebuilt image incorrectly and was actually using an older disk image. Sorry for the confusion I caused.

Gator driver v5.14 has made it into llct-20130404.0 (April 4th), but until today the ll tree was on the previous version of llct, and the Gator driver v5.13. This has been fixed in ll-20130412.0, it has the v5.14.

For this issue, now DS-5 data streaming works well on STE Snowball, ARM Versatile Express A9 and Samsung Arndale, but it is still unavailable on TI Panda image, due to the version mismatch problem.

The image I'm using for this test is build 290 on all boards.

The panda kernel package build was the latest. It missed the daily image.
Since we use the same kernel source tree, you can consider this bug fixed.
