while typing /away this reports itself as a win32 version in ie : <DC++ v0.705>

What do you think it should say? Technically it IS DC++ v0.705. How is this away message used in relation to client sniffing and the likes?

i thought it used to use the LinuxDC++ in the away msg, sorry for double post 2 :-/ ps i think this only affects the 0.705 core bzr

Basically the lp:linuxdcpp trunk says <LinuxDC++ v0.698> while the lp:0705-core branch just says <DC++ v0.705>
