Bug Description
Tried to extract a password protected zip archive but didn't write the correct password. An empty "Extract archive" splash window stays after the unsuccessful password attempt and won't close, even after closing the Extract dialog.
Those "windows" cannot be closed, neither by clicking the symbol, nor by xkill. They float on top of everything else, so you need to logout and back in to get rid of these artefacts.
I am on Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon 64-Bit.

This also happens with Thunderbird "Sending Message" notification window. The notification stays in front of all other windows even if Thunderbird is closed. Cannot close with close button, cannot kill with xkill. Need to logout and back in. This is really annoying.
