Clicking on Desktop Directories does not trigger mouse cursor change indicating "loading"

Always:
When clicking on any "folder/directory" INSIDE the DESKTOP the mouse cursor does not change to the rounded "loading" animation.
This can be annoying since until "caja" loads there is no way to know if you double-clicked correcly.
It also happened in updated Linux Mint 17.1 before upgrading to Linux Mint 17.2.
