Bug Description

I am try to install Linux Mint Xfce (201104) but it does not support LVM. I am trying to upgrade a system which already has LVM partitions.
Could it be possible that the installer supports in the future? is there any workaround to install Mint Xfce in a system with LVM partitions already created?
 Thank you

When you try to modify partitions with LVM the installer crash, I saw reports with XFCE, KDE and others, in my case it was with KDE.

You can delete the old partitions with CFDISK or FDISK and try again, but the things would be good if the installer don't crash when you try to delete that partitions from the installer.

Happened with Mint14

Work around consists in creating volume group and logical volume manually then format the logical volume (mkswap, mkfs).
Now the installer see it you just need to click on them to set the mount point
