Bug Description

After a number of suspend / resume cycles my screen occassionally goes fuzzy.

Periodically I have an external monitor connected, via VGA, and this *only* affects the laptop display.

Did a fix for this ever come up? I've spent a few hours digging for anything on this issue. It seems to be the "primary" monitor that gets fuzzy. To get back to normal a restart works or change the screen resolution down and then back. But I'd rather not have to do that every time I resume.

I'm also seeing this on my laptop with Linux Mint Cinnamon 17 with all updates and using the recommended Nvidia driver. I have my main screen disabled (laptop) because it is broken but I see the fuzzy issue on my external VGA. I don't have the same problem when booted to Windows XP SP3. It is a software issue and not a hardware issue.

summary: - screen goes fuzzy occassionally
+ screen goes fuzzy occasionally
