listen 0.6.1 hangs while playing mp3

I have test the mp3 with 0.6.1 from the listen ppa and ubuntu 0.04 and it work fine.
Perhaps can you test with the ppa version?

This is happening to me too, at first on 0.6.2 from the Ubuntu Karmic repository, but now it's still happening on 0.6.3 from the PPA.

Anecdotally, it seems to me that if it's going to happen on a given track, it will happen almost immediately after starting (within 5 seconds). It also seems to happen more often when manually jumping to a new track in the playlist (i.e. by double clicking it), interrupting the current song; when progressing through the playlist passively, it happens less often.

When it happens, the interface will at first appear normal except the current track time stops updating, but nothing responds to input. If I switch focus to another window on top of Listen and then switch back, the area covered on Listen's window remains blank grey until the interface wakes up, which can take several minutes. The current track continues playing in the background, although if it ends while the interface is still stuck, the next track won't start until the interface wakes up.

At first I thought maybe the UI thread was getting stuck in a loop or something, but it's hard to tell since Listen uses 100% CPU at all times anyway, even when working "normally."

hangs for me randomly too.
appeared with karmic's standard deb and also with 0.6.3-0~ppa2. When starting from the commandline, i get the errors that i attached to this post. The tracks track plays (music is from a mounted smb share), gui is blanked. When song stops, gui is still blanked and silence. the next track doesnt get played.
