lp-milestone release does not update "Fix Committed" to "Fix Released"

Bug Description
When I create a release, I like to set all my "Fix Committed" bugs to "Fix Released". I imagine there may be other users who like to do this.
I created a Launchpad API script that does this, which I call lp-milestone-
I could see this being an option to "lp-milestone release" but I could also see creating a set of more generic "unix-like" simple commands for querying and modifying tasks to achieve the same end.
What do you think is best?
