Menu-editor should save per default a "tar.gz" or even better a ".menuedit" ?

Bug Description
This is more a RFC than a bug.
In the menueditor mode, when saving a menu, the extension should be forced to ".tar.gz" as this is the only recognized format
of the Profilemanager.
Alternatively, why not having a ".menuedit" extension ? Less generic, more human readable ?
