Bug Description

Both myself and Rick have witnessed this bug, but I'm still trying to find a way to reliably recreate it.

The effect is that Caps Lock is on the the keyboard LED but lower case letters are entered and using shift may or may not allow you enter capitals, and vice versa.

I will update this bug with a way to recreate as soon as I have one.

affects: unity8-desktop-session (Ubuntu) → unity8 (Ubuntu)

does it get out of sync? I'll keep an eye out, but my recent use of unity8 in the last few days makes me think the caps-lock led just never gets signaled to on.
