Bug Description

Sometimes when I´m skipping a big number (~30) of songs in the Music App, than it crashes. I can´t restart it too. If the app opens, so it doesn´t works for around 6-10 restarts of the app. I see the list of available tracks, but when I clicked on it, the player stay empty - no background-image, songtitle, or something else. The queue stays empty too.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Adding media-hub as affected, since it seems like it's likely the reason the app will not restart.

I'm not able to reproduce this, I've tried with 100+ tracks in the queue with the audio playing repeatedly pressing next - the UI sometimes lags but so far it has always caught up.

Are you able to provide exact reproducible steps, I feel information such as are you playing the track when you skip to the next? is shuffle or repeat enabled? does it always stop at the same track or just N amount? could be useful :-)

Also which device are you running? And what version is the device? If possible can you run on this on device.
$ system-image-cli -i

Furthermore, providing the music-app and media-hub logs from the device maybe useful
~/.cache/upstart/application-click-com.ubuntu.music_music_2.3.964.log
~/.cache/upstart/media-hub.log

I'm using a BQ Aquaris E5. shuffle and repeat are enabled.
The app doesn't crashes everytime when I skipped so many songs, but once in one or two weeks, mostly at friday.
