can't disable default gw

preseed does this:

if [ "`debconf-get netcfg/no_default_route`" = "true" ] ; then in-target sed -i.bak -e '/^\tgateway /d' /etc/network/interfaces; fi ;\

but whether I have no_default_route=true or not, I get a default gw on boxes installed via cobbler/preseed
