Bug Description
In column view, the status overlay which shows file name, type and size is obscured by open columns. This is especially noticeable when you hover over it and it moves to the left side of the window, underneath any open columns.
If you're not sure what "status overlay" I'm talking about, it's the one discussed in bug 1073431.
