Bug Description

I have changed my "SaveonClose" branch to "experimentaltrunk". It includes:
-Markino's autosave
-Caio's Preferences-UI
-My most recent check for save.

Still need to add:
-Pete's fix to the undo bug.
-Consistent version (ie not 1.0).

Any other bug fixes around that I have missed?

Still a lot of improvements to be made (mainly on my contributions!) but I have just tried to start bringing the various bits together.

I will change the owner of this branch to pyroom dev so feel free to start uploading to it straight away - try and make it clear in the commit what you have done though. I know its not the actual trunk...but I'm still anxious of uploading to that and breaking it...hence this which is more clearly "experimental".

Keeping each feature in a separate branch wouldn't make merging to trunk easier? We can test them in a experimental branch, but we should keep all the bugfixes in separated branches too, so that Bruno can merge each one.

I'm just trying to bring it together a bit Caio - for example so your preferences dialog can disable/enable autosave, change the save time. Also, it isn't taking long for one bit of code to become outdated from another. Your current preferences branch is massively different to the Trunk, so buy bringing Markino's branch it allows development with the most up to date version of the branch.

Of course you don't have to use this, I just felt it would be useful if we focused our development on one branch as the code is changing, quite significantly, so often that it doesn't take long for one to become outdated from another.
