Crashes after clicking "edit" while using certain icon themes

Hi, in Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 (Beta-1) also happens the same to me. Strangely in ubuntu 14.04 Beta-1 (Unity) works fine ..I tried it on vmware workstation.

it crashes in ubuntu 14.04 beta(upgraded from 13.10) as well

Shutter 0.90.1 works fine for me, **IF** I have default icons enabled. Any other icons and it crashes on "edit". I have tested this with Ubuntu 14.04 Unity, Ubuntu Gnome 14.04, and openSUSE Gnome 13.1.

Very true. I was using Numix-circle icons. It crashed . Now, I have reverted back to Ubuntu mono icons, its working fine.

It works with Numix-utouch and Numix-utouch-gs icons.

I have the same problem with Numix Circle Icons. Ubuntu 12.04.3 AMD64. If i change it then all is Ok.

Same problem on Debian Testing with 0.90.1 Rev.1259 and the Numix Circle Theme.

This is happening to me too. Xubuntu 14.04.
If I use Faenza iconset, or the default iconset that comes with Xubuntu, it works fine.
But if I use some others, for example, Numix Circle, the Shutter Builti-in Editor crashes.

This bug is still occurring and makes Shutter pretty much unusable unless you use default icons. Is there any progress?~

Same here, running Ubuntu 14.04 with Numix Circle icon theme running. If I change back to Ubuntu-mono-dark it's fine.

I've added Numix devs into this conversation. We're still getting reports of this being a problem. If the shutter devs want to contact us so we can resolve this problem as soon as possible that would be great.

I have debugged the code and could isolate the following 'standard' gtk2 call:

my @contexts = sort $icontheme->list_contexts;

Only chance I currently see is to remove the feature (import icons from the current icon theme - I have never used that for example).

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Shutter 0.91 Rev.1264:

Shutter crashes on "edit" for me with Numix-Circle, Numix-Bevel and Numix icon themes as well as with HighContrast (coming with Ubuntu). All the other icon themes on my machine do not prompt Shutter to crash on "edit".

One more aspect: This applies as well when Shutter is already running; whichever icon theme is selected right before pressing "edit" determines whether Shutter will crash or not.

I hope that this is helpful. Good to see that the Shutter and Numix devs are already getting together to sort this one out.
