Bug Description
I am the Simple Scan packager in Fedora, and a user reported a downstream bug about some non-translated strings. It later turned out that those strings were not extracted and did not show up in simple-scan.pot.

simple-scan 3.13.1 incomplete french translation

How reproducible:
Just run simple-scan on a system using french language
Expected results:
In Simple-Scan menu:
"New document" should be "Nouveau doucument"
"Help" sould be "Aide" (Help file is not translated so)
"About" should be "A propos"
"Quit" should be "Quitter"
