Hi, could you provide more details on the steps one can follow in order to reproduce this issue, and the expected results? The specific version of the OS would be helpful too.

This is a known bug, on Pop!_OS, /etc/os-release is a symlink to somewhere else that cannot be read from confinement. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this right now, though I remember some options were discussed with Zygmunt and others at some point.
