Bug Description
Test in: Fedora
Hello. Steps to reproduce:
# dnf install snapd
Log out and back in.
# ln -s /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
Ensure snapd is running with| 'systemctl status snapd'; it won't be from the beginning. Then it's up to you to decide what causes that. With messy attempts i got it at last running.
# snap refresh core
# snap install --edge openoffice
error: The publisher of snap "openoffice" has indicated that they do not consider this revision to be of production quality (...)
# snap install --jailmode --edge openoffice
error: cannot install "openoffice": this system cannot honour the jailmode flag
revision to be of production quality (...)
# snap install --devmode --edge openoffice
$ snap list
Name Version Rev Tracking Publisher Notes
core 16-2.59.5 15511 latest/stable canonical✓ core
openoffice AOO413 6 latest/edge garman1001 devmode
$ snap run openoffice
error: cannot find app "openoffice" in "openoffice"
Error here, error there. When will be the day this tool will be capable of something else? Won't you get tired not to learn how works a Flatpak on Fedora; no messy code producing those errors nor weak development revealed by numerous messages: "INFO Waiting for automatic snapd restart..", "apparmor not enabled", "this system cannot honour the jailmode flag" and so many more. Quite a spectacle the development at Canonical.
