Bug Description

On Raspbian Bookworm, I am attempting to install snapd.

Followed all instructions, reaching the "sudo snap install core" step, which is followed by "sudo snap install snapd" when I started running into this report, and the function stopped:

error: cannot communicate with server: Post "http://localhost/v2/snaps/core": dial unix /run/snapd.socket: connect:connection refused

same happens for snapd.

A necessary step because Firefox and Chromium will not run on a Pi Zero W, and that is to get an alternate browser such as Midori.

I have ensured that all blockers are OFF (i.e. PiHole), and it still has an issue. No record of blocking was there in any case.

Regards, Don

Hi, thanks for raising this.
Could you please run the following debug script in the device and attach the output?

Hi - sorry I am not going to have enough time to do this debug activity
as I am prepping to go on a long trip. Best to close it for now. Thanks,
Don
