Bug Description
On the follow page:
https:/
You can't change your full name as it is taken for your Ubuntu One Account name.
When I changed my Ubuntu One Account name here:
https:/
My full name was not updated on the Ubuntu developer site so all of my app listing have my personal mail in the creator field.
EDIT: As below, it updates after the next relogin from login.ubuntu.com.
To post a comment you must log in.
Hi Shane. The myapps site only gets data from login.ubuntu.com when you sign in. I just tested this on staging with:
1) Go to login.staging. ubuntu. com and updated both my full name and preferred email ubuntu. com and myapps. developer. staging. ubuntu. com (to ensure I'll be forced to re-authenticate) developer. staging. ubuntu. com
2) Logged out of both login.staging.
3) Logged back in to myapps.
During the last step, I see my updated full name and email being passed to myapps. Similarly, when I view my /dev/account/ it displays the updated information.
Any published applications of yours will need to be unpublished/ republished so that the published records use the new details too.
Let me know if that works around your issue, even if it's not the ideal scenario.
Thanks
