Bug Description

I did an installation of http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily-live/20240423/noble-live-server-riscv64.img.gz on a Vision Five 2 board. During the installation I selected http://de.ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/ as mirror, but after the installation, the APT sources used the default:

```
user@visionfive2:~$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources
Types: deb
URIs: http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/
Suites: noble noble-updates noble-backports
Components: main restricted universe multiverse
Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/ubuntu-archive-keyring.gpg
Hello Benjamin,
Could you please share the installation logs normally found in /var/log/installer on the target?
If anything's sensitive, you can redact the data.
Thanks!
Here you have the full installer log files. grep hasn't found the user's password (in clear text form).
I can't reproduce the issue on amd64 so I think there must be something different on the riscv64 image.
Looking at the logs, http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports was also used during the installation ; despite the connectivity check trying http://de.ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports.
This probably means the etc/apt layout is not the way subiquity/curtin expect it to be.
I am downloading the ISO to check.
