Bug Description

On my M10 tablet the image in Tagger appears flipped, this changes depending on what way up you hold the tablet but sometimes is upside down. It also does not appear to be capable of scanning codes. I've tried several and haven't had a single success.

In the app I have no way to know which way the screen is. Adding canonical devices system image to this bug because the platform needs to fix the API first.

currently the system only tells Landscape and Portrait to the app, but it should do Landscape, Portrait, InvertedLandscape and InvertedPortrait.

Is there anything I can add to this? Logs, tests on my device? Does anyone know if this issue would block the app from scanning correctly? Or is this a separate issue I'm experiencing?

I am unclear on the desired functionality. Is it for the app to override the standard orientation for the camera? In general having the camera viewer be upside down as expected seems like a desired behavior.
Are there any other use cases where this is applicable? I cannot think of any.

On the second part I can scan codes easily so not sure the issue. I assume you tried with the "correct side up" although I scanned from every orientation.

The issue is that when held in certain orientations the image moves the
opposite way to the tablet. i.e. as yu move the tablet up the image on the
screen appears to move down.
