Hi Daniel,

do you really think that phrases like "repair your junk" will help you at all or me to fix the issue (if there is one)? I don't think so...

Anyhow, if you don't have sudo and there is a mis-configuration, not you or me can do anything about this. Maybe, just maybe, that's intentional configuration.

However, you seem to be good enough to register an account here, so maybe you can get log files and configuration files for me?
On the project page, there is a link where I describe where are those files, zip them up and post them somewhere I can access.
If you can't, ask your dad to do that.

TL;DR: ask your dad to install timekpr-next from my ppa, there are instructions on the project description page.

Ok, thanks for log files, this is known issue when system have newer python versions and I have made a fix for this like a year ago :)
The issue is that package in Ubuntu is imported from Debian, and it is not updated in Debian yet :(

Let me know whether everything is ok after that.

Thanks!
I'm glad that everything works.
I hope Debian package maintainer will import the package soon so less users will suffer from unexpected logouts.
