creating new event from week view does not set the right date

In the "day view", going to a certain day and adding an event yields a "new event" screen with the date of the day preset.

In the "month view" ticking on a certain day switches to the day view and adding a new event works fine.

But in the "week view", whatever is the day selected, the "new event" screen comes with the today's date.

On all well educated calendars, clicking on a certain day pops up a new event pre-set at the right date and time.....
