After switching users Gnome-shell gives black screen, which can be recovered by pressing "Super"

Bug Description

Way to reproduce:

Need to be using Nvidia-proprietary drivers (version 331.38 in Trusty) and GDM.

1) Log in as User1
2) Select "Switch user" from the menu
3) Log in as User2
4) Select "Switch user" from the menu
5) Log in as User1
6) Black desktop for User1, which can be recovered by pressing "Super"

I confirm the bug for:
Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, Kernel 3.13.0-36-generic (x86_64), Compiled #63-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sept 3, 2014, 21:30:07 UTC
I am Using standard Unity desktop, Nvidia binary driver, ver. 331.38

Pentium Dual Core E6300 @2800MHz
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GE Forece GT 640, rev a1
ASUS P5Q3, BIOS ver 11.02

P.S. pressing ctrl+alt+F7 works for me to get back to Unity.
