Bug Description

I have some problems with Russian keyboard. Firstly, instead of letter "У" ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/U_(Cyrillic) ) keyboard shows me letter "Y". Secondly, keyboard shows letter "i" from Ukranian language. Thirdly, sometimes I can't change language (button is not shown). Lastly, from my point of view, it is wrong way to change language via press and hold button. As in Android, we should allow users to simply click on button to change language.

Just for the reference for non-Russian speakers: cyrillic code points (characters) relevant to the Russian language are located in this chart http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0400.pdf. The exact values are as follows:
1) The range from U+0410 to U+044F
2) CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER IO U+0401
3) CYRILLIC SMALL LETTER IO U+0451

Another relevant character that has been recently added to the Unicode Standard version 7.0 BETA is the RUBLE SIGN U+20BD (₽ - may not render properly unless you have a font containing this character). For the reference to the ruble sign please see:

  * Enable the language menu when single pressing the language switcher
    button and add a settings item to the bottom of the language
    switcher.
  * Add numbers to the extended keys in the top row and extra
    punctuation on existing punctuation keys. Also adds the new sheqel
    symbol to the Hebrew keyboard and ensures that the Hebrew keyboard
    still displays keys when in capital mode. (LP: #1233578)
  * Fix incorrect Russian characters and layout (LP: #1321908)
  * Implement swiping behaviour for the selection of extended keys and
    fix popover position when selecting the same extended key after
    changing orientation.
