Bug Description

Latest release (0.2.418) crashes the app when refreshing the feeds. "Searching..." appears and the app closes. When starting the app again all new feeds are shown but without pictures. In the past it worked great and I haven't added new feeds.

Deleting /home/phablet/.local/share/com.ubuntu.shorts and adding my "old" feeds solved both problems.

All mentioned feeds added via integrated search option.

Same problem here. App chrashes on refresh, but after restart new feeds are missing. Deleting the folder solved the problem. But it's a lot of work to add all feeds again.

When refreshing following RSS feeds the application crashes

- Heise.de
- Golem.de

Refreshing other topics/feeds works.

Restarting Shorts-App, puts me to the crashed topic/head - without content. Starting refresh - crashes again.
Switching to different topic - still leaves the crashed topic/head on top.

If I have "Use Google Search" enabled (i.e. a green "tick"), Shorts attempts to retrieve my new newsfeeds and after 1-2 minutes, tells me:
"Errors occured during the update
Perhaps some of the channels have not been updated."

But after closing the dialog box, it is obvious that at least some of my newsfeeds have been updated...

On the other hand, if I have "Use Google Search" disabled (i.e. a grey "x"), Shorts attempts to retrieve my new newsfeeds, then crashes a few seconds later (returning me to the Applications Scope)... When I go back into Shorts, it does not appear that my newsfeeds have been updated.
