Ambiance does not respect gtk_tree_view_set_rules_hint () in GTK 3

GTK has gtk_tree_view_set_rules_hint () https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.0/GtkTreeView.html#gtk-tree-view-set-rules-hint that tells the theme to paint rows in treeview with different colours. Ambiance does not heed this and paints the rows with just one colour.

How to reproduce:
1 Open transmission and add these two torents to it:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04.1/ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-i386.iso.torrent
http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04.1/ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent

What you should see is shown in a included screenshot (using Albatross theme: https://github.com/shimmerproject/Albatross/releases/ )

For transmission, it is not a big deal, I need it for subtitleeditor (a new version uses GTK3, it is not yet in the Ubuntu repositories, I compile it by hand), where the rows are much narrower, so this is much more useful. With gtk2 applications, this works.
