Bug Description
1/ Open the Ubuntu Software Centre
2/ Look at the "News" tab, there is often the product named "Ubuntu Circle Magazine"
3/ Under the name "Ubuntu Circle Magazine" the category is shown, here "Books & Magazine"
Strangely, the category "Books & Magazines" is not translated in French (Livres & Magazines).
But in the same time, this category is correctly translated in the left panel.
See screenshot here attached.

Well, after having a closer look at the USC, it seems that there is no link between the categories in the left panel and the categories shown with each application proposed.
A few examples :
- Application > category shown (left panel category)
- Bastion > Role playing (Games ?)
- TubeMixing > Sound & Video (not translated)
- AnonMail > Email (Office apps ?)
- FileZilla > Files sharing (Internet or Accessories ?)
- Periodic table > Chemistry (Education ?)
- GeoGebra > Mathematics (Education ?)
- Stellarium > Astronomy (Science & Engineering ?)
Therefore I guess it's more a design /dev issue than only a translation issue...
However, it lacks coherence and should be taken into account as all those apps are shown in the USC homepage.
But maybe this is already solved in 12.10...
