Bug Description

GNOME Media Applet

PURPOSE: GNOME Media Applet is an Gnome applet primarily targeted as a tool to unmount storage media.
LICENCE: GNU GPLv3

Media applet is an applet to easily handle devices on your system. It's similar (in the purpose) to the drivemount applet but with a nice user interface (based on ejecter 0.0.9 a small utility to unmount removable media by Federico Pelloni ejecter).

Features:
* Easily mount / unmount removable devices on your system
* Nice user intereface
* Support actions on devices
* Network devices support(ie. smb share)
* Written in Vala

deb package for Ubuntu is already available at http://media-applet.googlecode.com/files/media-applet_0.3_i386.deb
and is working well in Intrepid.

I guess a missing info is about the licence...
I did not found licence info in the package. It would be probably be GPL,
but I agree we must be sure and ask the author.

There is already a newer version at http://media-applet.googlecode.com and it should be definitely included on CD
