reboot hangs due to alsa issue (probably regression of bug 274995)

Bug Description

When I try to reboot or shutdown sometimes my system hangs with this error:
"Shutting down ALSA...
 * warning: 'alsactl store' failed with error message 'alsactl: save_state:1541: Cannot open /var/lib/alsa/asound.state for writing: Read-only file system'..."

I'm using Kubuntu 9.04 final release.
