Bug Description
When trying to run the default smoke tests under the emulator, I get:
XIO: fatal IO error 4 (Interrupted system call) on X server ":99"
after 128 requests (128 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
signal: segmentation fault (core dumped)
Seems to happen around the time it's trying to mark the image writable. .crash file attached
