Bug Description

On my computer (the screen resolution is 1366x768), if I resize the play bar like in the screenshot 2Banshee_before_restart.png and restart Banshee, the window is going to be bigger than the screen (3Banshee_after_restart1.png and 4Banshee_after_restart2.png).

I'm using Ubuntu 11,04 and Banshee 2.0.0

I tried to reproduce this issue with banshee 2.1 but I am unabled to reproduce it, seems like is already fixed in this release, by the way, this issue looks very similar to bug 803928. Please can you try to reproduce this issue using banshee 2.1 from ppa archive and then check if this problem persist for you? Thanks.

I added the ppa ppa:banshee-team/banshee-daily to my system. Now I have Banshee 2.1.1 and the bug is still there. Since you say that you can't replicate the bug, what is your screen resolution? I tried this on three different monitors (and two different computers) with different resolutions : 1366x768, 1280x1024 and 1680x1050. The bug happens on the first two, but not the third, since I can't make the play bar long enough for the bug to happen (there is a maximum length).

Your monitor is probably too big. Like I said, on my monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050 (21 inches), I could not make the bug happen, but on a smaller screen (resolution : 1366x768 - 15 inches or ) it happens every time. To make the bug happen, you have to be able to bring the play bar close enough to the search bar (I can make them touch on my computer).
