Bug Description

The recent decorations update to 5.1.95-0ubuntu1 left the system without any decorations. The only decoration available in system settings is plastik, however you cannot apply it. Window styles work fine, as do the icons and cursor.

I just did a fresh install of the alpha2 release of Kubuntu 15.04 in virtualbox. There were no window decorations present at all.

Apparently, kwin wasn't installed as a default package. Once I installed that, window decorations worked correctly.

Hi,

I'm no expert but on trying the Vivid Alpha I stumbled over the same problem. A second try with a new user (for clean settings) also yielded the same result.

On a full-upgrade on 29th of January 'kwin' got removed when I ran 'apt-get autoremove', which left me a bit wondering. Just for fun I tried a reinstall of 'kwin' today and now everything works fine again. I hope this maybe helps someone.
