Bug Description

Binary package hint: computer-janitor

Linux kernel 2.6.35 includes a feature called 'Memory compaction'.
This can be used by computer-janitor.

http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_2_6_35#head-9cb0a1275559d40296da42efb7977896ac9edab7

It may be triggered explicitly by writing any value to
/proc/sys/vm/compact_memory and compacting all of memory.

Thanks for the suggestion! I won't have time to work on this for Maverick, but I'll look at it for 11.04.

Probably could be added in just a few minutes.

GtkMenuItem("Compact memory");
system("echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/compact_memory");
