can't launch indicator-keylock

Bug Description
Attempting to use indicator-keylock on Trusty xfce 4.10 installation. When I run indicator-keylock I get a dbus error warning. The indicator is never displayed. Help? no keyboard led on this thinkpad and I need stickykeys to type, but I can never tell when shift or ctrl are lockeds.
