Bug Description

Binary package hint: dbus

I was using Rhytmbox then I clicked on my Audio Library -> Import Folder and in the DirectoryView I selected iPhone then I've an error "DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.74 was not provided by any .service files"

I got a similiar bug with Nautilus when I try to explorer the iPhone directory I think it's completely related to the iPhone 3GS 16GO device

Similar problem just after upgrading to Linux 2.6.35 :
"Impossible de monter iPhone
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)"

Is this related ?

My last report was about a message when plugin iPhone into USB.

I just saw that rythmbox don't detect iPhoen anymore, it sees an "Unknown device" and remove it immediately from the list.

The log message when Rythmbox tries to dectect devices or when i plug my iPhone :

usb 2-2: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
ipheth 2-2:4.2: Apple iPhone USB Ethernet device attached

So now iPhone is an USB Ethernet device ?!

The error I get trying to get music off the iPhone using Rythmbox is...

DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.74 was not provided by any .service files

with latest Ubuntu. If I simply go into Gnome browser, I can drag files over form the device and they play fine it seems. Just can't import them properly. Also, a one point i got ifuse to moun the device with sudo and and from there I could have probably copied the files over, but then the .plist info would not be associated with the songs.
