Bug Description
Binary package hint: dia
Steps to reproduce in a fully updated Jaunty:
1. Open dia-gnome
2. Click on File -> Print
3. Keep default options selected (Printer, lpr)
4. Click on OK
Result: The printing doesn't work. Nothing is sent to the printer. An error dialog is displayed with the following error message:
"Printer error: command 'lpr' caused sigpipe."
and then another error message:
"Printing error: command 'lpr' returned 256"
If you open dia-gnome from a terminal, you can see the following error message:
$ dia
lpr: Error - no default destination available.
The "print to file" option works OK, though.

The problem seems to be the following: I doesn't set up the default lpr printer. To fix that:
1. Click on System- >Administration ->Printing.
2. Right-click on the desired printer, and select Make default printer.
After the above steps, the problem disappears.
