Bug Description

Binary package hint: dpkg

      Firstly, when i upgraded from Ubuntu 10.4 to 10.10, many pre-dependency related problem arose but the upgrade installation proceded.
     When the system restarted after upgrade, some error poped up during the start saying "power manager not configured"- something about power manager.. and i could not proceed further to the desktop.
     I restarted in recovery mode and repaired dpkg.Then the system started normally and this crash report popped up.
