Emacs shortcuts do not appear in menu until another login

Binary package hint: emacs

After installing the emacs metapackage, the shortcuts do not appear in Applications->Accessories until you log out and login again.

They do appear in 'Edit Menus' immediately though.

The fix probably involves refreshing the Main Menu as one of the last steps of the install process.
