Consistently crashes when loading The Lounge

When trying to load an instance of The Lounge (a webapp IRC client) Web will either:

1. Show the loading message in the status at the bottom of the screen for a minute or so but then declare that the page is unresponsive.
2. Show a screen which claims that the tab crashed.

This is a regression since 21.04.

I have also verified that this does not happen with the Flatpak version (in the main Flathub repository) and that it does happen on a clean install.

To reproduce:

1. Make a fresh install of Ubuntu 21.10
2. Install the epiphany-browser package
3. Navigate to an instance of The Lounge e.g. https://demo.thelounge.chat/
4. Observe as one of the previous two things happens.
