Epiphany does not warn when closing a window with multiple tabs

Bug Description

It would be nice if Epiphany would display a warning dialog if/when a user tries to close a windows with multiple open tabs in it.

You are right. I can confirm this. I don't think it's a real bug, more a feature- wish. Perhaps you should report this directly in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/ ?

For those who are interested, the upstream bug report has an extension written in Python attached which seems to work well.

The extension is no longer working.
The bug is worse than ever because popup windows appear almost, but not fully, maximised.
