I tried compiling the evdi module code from https:/ /github. com/sickcodes/ evdi in branch rockorequin- sickcodes- microhobby- patch-1. 7.x (see https:/ /github. com/DisplayLink /evdi/issues/ 249), and it builds, but it has the same problem with 5.11 that the Ubuntu version of evdi has with 5.10, that I just described at https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ xorg/+bug/ 1920067.
Ugh, what a mess.
