Bug Description
With fsprotect active if you open a Firefox session and go to the Search Box, the Firefox session crashes.
Deactivating fsprotect doesn't happen.
I'm thinking also which is the future of fsprotect package if aufs will not be continued:
https:/
"Various unsuccessful attempts have been made to include aufs in the mainline kernel. The Ubuntu kernel has been supporting it, but there is a strong movement to drop support and use overlayfs instead. The upcomming Ubuntu 12.04 release will still contain aufs, but only because of certain problems with overlayfs "
I'm trying to protect more than 400 scholar computers with a free source code solution...

I entirely restored my machine and I tried lethe, http:// sourceforge. net/projects/ lethe/
lethe is very similar to fsprotect.
I got the same problem. More than that, Firefox crashes also when you want to write one URL or clicking to a link.
I wanted to put here the error in English and I changed my system from Catalan to English.
And surprise... When the system runs in English Firefox doesn't crash.
The error I got is:
process 2300: arguments to dbus_server_ get_data( ) were incorrect, assertion "server != NULL" failed in file ../../dbus/ dbus-server. c line 1164. set_data( ) were incorrect, assertion "server != NULL" failed in file ../../dbus/ dbus-server. c line 1128.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
process 2300: arguments to dbus_server_
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
** (firefox:2300): ERROR **: Not enough memory to set up DBusServer for use with GLib
Trampa de traçat/punt d’aturada (bolcat de la imatge del nucli)
I will try to reproduce a new time the problem with fsprotect. I'm (quit) sure I'll get the same error than using lethe.
