[Jaunty] gksu doesn't accept root-password without "-w"-option

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gksu

I'm using Jaunty with root-user on a test-client, if I start for example synaptic over the gnome-menu ubuntu promts for the password, but doesn't accept the root password.

Using gksu -w works.
