Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-device-manager

It's some days that every time I unplug an usb external device I always obtain a pop-up window that says (I try to translate from my italian distro):

"it's not possible to umount the volume
...
cannot remove the directory"

Then the device is correctly umounted.
No error if I try from command line.

I noticed that the error only happens if the device I try to umount is the first usb device connected (the one that is mounted under /media/disk). In fact if I try to mount connect more usb devices than one (so I have /media/disk-1 and so on) only with the first connected media I have the error.

Tested with Hardy Heron and gnome 2.22.3

Some days before this bug happened, I noticed in my system another issue (bug #230671) always related to usb devices (and hibernate process). I dont' know if they are related in some ways.

Today the issue have disappeared just after the bug #230671 happened. Just as I sayd, I think (but I haven't sufficient elements to demonstrate this yet) they are in some ways related each other.
