Bug Description

The information showed when gnome-keyring-ask is invoked (in my case by evolution, since I use automatic login) is cryptic and ununderstandable by non technical users.

It says that you must enter your password in order to unlock the default keyring. For most users the question is: What is the keyring? why should I enter my password here?

I think a better explanation should be given:+

"Since you accessed this section through an automatic login, your password is needed in order to .... etc."

Hi donpaolo,

This isn't actually an Ubuntu bug, more of a feature request, and as such you might want to directed to these guys... http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring

Changing the wording may seem like a simple thing but when you consider it looks like there are currently 74 different translations for that text, it may take a while for any changes to filter through to Ubuntu.

I do agree with you, but I think your request will probably fall on deaf ears here. Perhaps it may be easier to request a new language, en_NUB? ;)
