Switching locations changes tray-entry width

Bug Description

Minor quirk in Hardy (seen in 8.04.1): I have two locations configured in the clock applet; also, the clock is set to only display the time (no weather/temperature/date). When activating the other location, the tray entry with the time entry is resized a bit in width. This is a bit irritating and also uses up precious space on the small screen.

Going to the clock settings dialog and check and uncheck the "show weather" checkbox fixed the tray entry width again.

Attached is a screenshot of the widened tray entry (with the clock applet opened here, so the entry border is visible for clarification).

For completeness, here's a screenshot showing the normal clock applet. Here, the tray entry has the correct width.

Some other observations:
- width is not corrected if displayed time changes (like new minute value)
- switching the "display date" or "display seconds" checkboxes on/off in settings dialog doesn't fix it either
- switching "display temperature" on/off in time settings dialog fixes the width again.

This is with gnome-applets version 2.22.2-0ubuntu2 .
