My desktop has suspend disabled through all GUI options I can find, yet it still suspends, and can never be woken up. Makes ubuntu 11.10 totally unusable. Attached is dmesg. After I push a key to resume, the display stays turned off, and the CPU fan spins to the max. Must push the power button to turn off the computer.

I'm not experiencing timmy's issue, though; my laptop suspends and I have to push the power button to "revive" it (but I lose network connection and so on; makes it impossible to have a download running while the computer is left unattended)

Confirmed on x86_64 11.10 ubuntu up to date.

The PC is a Dell Workstation T7400. It sleeps, no matter what are the settings.
